This P90 pickup is part of our Clone Family and is modeled after a very special sounding 1959 LP Jr that resides in the care of Mike Estes (guitarist for Lynard Skynard / Blackfoot / Skinny Molly). This is vintage P90 at its very best. Fat and aggressive, raw and gritty, with a focused mid-range and plenty of punch. Warm as a vintage PAF. This candied single coil on steroids is sweeter than a glass of grandma’s iced tea.

Dripping with tone. Warm but never muddy. Love this on my archtop.
One would be extremely hard pressed to hear any difference between my stock Dog Ear on my 59 JR and Stocktone’s 59 DE. Sherman nailed it! Couldn’t be happier with it!
